Technical Papers

The 2026 Technical Papers Programme

The IBC Conference will once again bring you IBC’s world-renowned & peer-reviewed Technical Papers, which have formed the backbone of the Conference for many years.

The IBC2026 Technical Paper Programme will unite the technical media and broadcast community to find the answer to the question, 'what direction should our technology take for our business? '

We'll have an expanded scope this year to include papers dedicated to technical policy as well as our more traditional technical papers.

The programme will feature focused sessions on AI Production, Coding, Trust & Provenance, XR & Multiview, The Future of TV Distribution, Dynamic Media Facility developments, AI Indexing, plus much more.
