Rizwan Khan

Rizwan Khan is a Senior Enterprise Account Engineer (EAE) and Media Specialist at Amazon Web Services, based in Singapore. In this role, he provides deep technical guidance to media and entertainment customers across the ASEAN and Asia-Pacific regions, specializing in AWS Elemental media services, CloudFront content delivery, and live streaming architectures.

Rizwan joined AWS in April 2022 as a Senior Technical Account Manager supporting enterprise customers in the ASEAN region. Over more than four years, he built a strong foundation in cloud architecture, security, and operational excellence before transitioning into the Media Specialist track in December 2025. In his current role, he works within AWS's Unified Operations Media (UOM) team, supporting high-profile streaming customers with architecture reviews, live event monitoring, and performance optimization.

His customer portfolio includes major broadcasters in the region, for whom he has delivered measurable improvements in streaming reliability and performance. He has also recently presented on AWS Identity and Access Management at the APJC Security Roadshow.

Prior to specializing in media, Rizwan gained broad experience across the AWS stack as a TAM, advising customers on security posture, cost optimization, operational resilience, and migration strategies. He is known for his hands-on approach to problem-solving and his ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for customers.

Rizwan is part of the global Media Specialist team, working alongside colleagues across multiple time zones to deliver 24/7 operational support for the world's largest live streaming events.
