The IBC exhibition is where the vendors, manufacturers, and developers from around the world come to showcase their latest offerings.
In an industry as diverse as ours, IBC helps visitors by theming the exhibition, so visitors interested in a particular branch of technology should find the relevant stands close by each other. These zones and strands are backed up through signage and wayfinding.
Exhibitors, too, play their part by building visually striking, product/service orientated and accessible stands which makes it clear what their products or services do and why they are exciting. A good stand will use the company’s branding to create attractive and informative environments.
IBC celebrates the amazing and varied skills of the designer and team with a group of awards. A team of judges tours the entire show floor – exhibitors do not need to enter as every single stand will be considered.
On Saturday, the jury – made up of buyers, sellers, and engineers as well as marketers – will announce its shortlist of up to 40 finalists, who will each receive promotional boards for the stand to boost their own marketing.
The winners will be notified on Sunday morning and will be presented with their awards at the IBC Awards Reception, in room E102 at 18.30 on Sunday evening. Everyone is welcome at this reception, to celebrate all the IBC Award winners, in technology, social responsibility and achievement.
