IBC Exhibition Stand Design Awards

The IBC Exhibition Stand Design Awards celebrate the very best among the many visually striking, enticing and accessible stands across the IBC Show.

At IBC2024, all stands on the show floor were considered and the four winners were announced on Sunday 15 September. Each was presented with the coveted award by Lisa Collins, Chair of the IBC Exhibition Steering Committee.

Chair of the jury for the Stand Design Awards Dan Cherowbrier said: “A wide congratulations to all this year's winners in the stand design awards.

2024 showed once again exhibitors across the board pushing the boundaries of innovation in stand design. New entrants have shown advances in accessibility, sustainability and the inviting nature of the winning stands.

The judges award for innovation this year for the first time goes to an outdoor stand showcasing that good design leads across areas of the IBC show.”

Smallest Stands (below 20sqm)

Won by: Magnifi, Hall 5, stand H52
This is an immersive space, with unusually clear messaging on the advantages of AI. The stand features artificial grass and balls held in a net above the stand which creates positive tension.  With a small stand, they’ve achieved as much, if not more, than they might have done with a larger space.

Mid-Sized Stands (up to 100sqm)

Won by: Phoenix7, Hall 1, stand C61
Phoenix7 have achieved a living room style for their stand, executing it to a tee with stylistically correct sofas, cupboards, doors, wallpaper and even a dado rail. The fire is actually a large TV showing the demo and the sofas around the fire have been re-used for 10 years.

Larger Stands (over 100sqm)

Won by: Omni Remotes and Zappware, Hall1, Stand A.81
The space has different styles in different areas, yet feels cohesive and is in line with the company’s different offerings. The display is clean and well thought out, with freedom and time to browse. The addition of arcade and pinball machines managed to work with the informal, but business- like atmosphere.

Innovation

Won by: BT, Outside, A24

The BT stand was warm and welcoming. A Scalextric model car track at the centre draws people in, at the heart of a demo that flows throughout the stand - each space attributed to each product. Being outside, there’s cover from the rain if the weather turns.
