Jim Higgins

Jim is a technology brand manager with strong record of experience in customer service, technical service management, marketing, business development and technology project leadership. Jim joined RTÉ in 2013 following a career in Consumer Electronics spanning 26 years.
Jim has delivered successful marketing and communications campaigns and has contributed to the evolution and growth of the Saorview brand. He also worked on the project to deliver Saorview Connect which won an IBC Innovation Award in 2018. Jim is currently driving the development of the Saorview DVB-I trial to assess the potential of this technology for creating an enhanced hybrid service for Saorview.
