Emma Maier
Emma Maier is a researcher and behavioural science specialist with over 20 years’ experience of applied research, project leadership, evaluation and content creation. Her experience spans market research, new product development, editorial research and academic research. During her career, she has focused on social policy, social change, influence and decision-making. Her current research interests include gamification and targeting behaviour change techniques to improve wellbeing and sustainability.
She is the research lead on the DTG/i2 media research usability project for Ofcom, which identifies challenges and solutions for improving inclusivity and usability in the consumption of internet delivered television. The project integrates robust research methods, consumer behaviour analysis, and stakeholder engagement, to deliver transformative, inclusive solutions for IP-delivered television, enhancing usability, accessibility, and overall viewer experiences while leaving a legacy for the industry.
