Most recently, Simon served as Senior Director of Immersive Media at Dolby, where he shaped the company's strategy for next-generation media technologies, influencing global standards and building strategic partnerships across the technology ecosystem. His work has accelerated the adoption of advanced audio, video, web, and immersive technologies, enabling new consumer experiences and strengthening Dolby's industry leadership.
Prior to Dolby, Simon spent ten years as Chief Technology Officer at the Digital TV Group, leading technical strategy and industry-wide collaboration that helped define the UK's digital television ecosystem. He began his career at BBC Research & Development, contributing to the successful introduction of High Definition television.
