Pam Fisher is Executive Director of The Media Institute (TMI), founded by University College London (UCL) to provide industrial SMEs and other companies with flexible access to world-class research through academic-industry collaborations, and to accelerate and expand the volume of media-related research undertaken within the media industry. Pam has an extensive background in digital media business models, markets and technologies. She has led successful technology start-ups in the UK and US, one resulting in a full listing on the London Stock Exchange, and consulted with 100+ companies in 300+ projects in the field of media technology and digital business strategy. Member of SMPTE, AMIA and IPTC, she is active in the formation of new metadata standards for video. She has an MBA from London Business School.
