2022 Content Programme

IBC2022  was the catalyst that brought the content and technology community back together to unlock business opportunities, fuel learning and celebrate innovation. The 4-day content agenda was open to delegates and visitors offering insight, education and learnings across a variety of programmes and theatres.

The 2022 programme had 3 key parts to it, the IBC Conference, the Changemaker Programme and the Show Floor Theatres. 



IBC Conference

The traditional renowned The IBC Conference returned with a two-day paid for event giving delegates access to premium content and networking.  The programme welcomed game-changers and thought leaders from across the content and technology world, taking a fresh look at the industry from three perspectives: Shifting Business Models, Transformative Technology and People Making Waves in our Industry. Key speakers included Disney, Marvel Studios, ITV, Zee5 and France Televisions.

IBC Changemaker Programme

This year IBC widened its agenda by partnering with a range of well know organisations who brought expertise and insight into topics including diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and mental health. These sessions also included technical and strategic insights into areas such as cinema. sessions from trailblazing organisations and initiatives changing the culture of our industry and pushing the boundaries of creativity and technology. Movielabs, The Circle Society, Soho Media Cub, RISE, Gals N’ Gear will help you cultivate a new perspective.

IBC Show Floor Theatres

IBC2022 featured 3 theatres on The IBC Show Floor Theatres showcasing strategic insights and thought leadership.

  • The IBC Showcase Theatre hosted sessions from Google, AWS, EVS & Zixi and others. Where these top-tier tech leaders go, others follow. Explored was where they see the future of Media and Entertainment Tech.
  • The Innovation Stage presented next gen tech through a host of innovators, entrepreneurs, and technologists. Featured were the IBC Accelerator programme, start-up experts The Next Web (TNW) plus more leading-edge exhibitor brands.
  • The IBC Content Everywhere Stage drew on exhibitor expertise to expand your knowledge and understanding of the latest trends, strategies, and developments in the fast-moving field of online TV and streamed video.
