Many entertainment customers need to localize Movies & TV Shows into regional versions to better connect with local audiences. As streaming platforms compete for an ever-expanding global audience, the pressure and demand on localization services has increased exponentially.
Rapid and cost-effective localization is key to entertainment companies delivering their marquee content to new markets, and also bringing international content to the established English-language marketplace. However, in many cases, the localization process is neither ‘rapid’, nor ‘cost-effective’, with prohibitive costs being a major factor in keeping content trapped behind language barriers. It’s clear that substantial benefits will reward whoever can remove the process bottlenecks and reduce costs through cloud-based rationalization - in terms of audience share - and the democratization of premium content to untapped audiences around the world.
