The Premium Pass offered a programme of structured networking activities including networking breakfasts, content-led roundtables and access to an exclusive Lounge where pass holders could have meaningful conversations and open up new relationships to help grow and develop their business.

An oasis of calm in the middle of a busy tradeshow, the Premium Lounge was built as a multi-purpose space, to have meetings, refreshments, take part in intimate and informal content-led discussions and network with fellow Premium delegates.

Premium Pass holders had exclusive access to Omdia’s latest research focused on the current hot topic of gaming IP and its meteoric rise across the entertainment industry.

Focusing on the key areas in which the closer bonds between games, movies, and TV are being noticed, the report offered insights into the hugely enhanced focus on games IP, explored streaming services and their gaming plays, reviewed cinema and its own gaming investment, took a deep dive into what made The Last of Us TV show a prominent hit and evaluated the future of cross-media relationships.

Additionally, Omdia’s leading gaming analysts hosted a variety of sessions from roundtables to clinics covering the latest trends and forecasts impacting the entertainment industry.

How to access the Lounge:

When you arrive at the RAI, head to Entrance E and the Premium Pass Registration Desk where you can collect your badge. You will then be directed to the Premium Lounge where a hostess will greet you.

If you would prefer you can pick up your badge from any registration desk at the RAI or at badge collection points at the airport, train station and various hotels. Please find out more information here.

Wildstar is at the forefront of efforts to increase diversity on and off-screen in natural history which is traditionally a very white, male part of the industry, through initiatives such as the launch of the Wildstar Academy which trains up producers, camera operators and other production staff on location to create a viable pool of talented people in different countries around the world who bring new perspectives and stories to the screen and increase environmental awareness in their own countries. Wildstar is also a leading player in efforts to make natural history programme making more sustainable through initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of travel and filming animals in the wild.

The IBC Innovation Awards for 2023 will take place on Sunday 17th in the Premium Lounge, with a reception commencing at 6pm. The winners of the three Innovation Awards - Content Creation, Content Distribution and Content Everywhere - will be revealed, and a Special Award will be presented.  We will hear from each of the winning projects. The Award for the Best Technical Paper will also be given. The event will culminate in the presentation of the coveted International Honour for Excellence.
