IBC has taken the decision to enhance its standard terms and conditions of contract for exhibiting at IBC2024. If the show is cancelled under clause 12.1.2 of our Terms of Sale, IBC provide:
- 70% of total 2024 stand-space investment to be either refunded or carried forward as credit to IBC2025. It is your choice.
- Redemption of these enhanced terms and conditions is dependent on all payment balances for IBC2024 being cleared on time.
For IBC2021, whilst we tried to move the original September event to December, it was an operational challenge and ultimately was not a long enough timeframe to avoid disruption. Consequently, this year, if IBC2024 is cancelled for reasons relating to the pandemic, IBC will provide a refund rather than move to an alternative date.
Therefore, this year, we are changing our approach and giving exhibitors clarity well ahead of time, based on what we have learnt over the past two years.
For IBC2024, if we cancel under clause 12.1.2 of our Terms of Sale, we will refund the pre-paid Fee in accordance with our existing IBC2024 Terms of Sale (as updated from time to time, provided we notify you by email or in writing).
