Eurostar

Please be advised that due to renovation works at Amsterdam Centraal station, there will be a reduced Eurostar train service from London to Amsterdam from June 2024 until early 2025.

Passengers will still be able to take a direct Eurostar train from London St Pancras International to Amsterdam Centraal.

Passengers returning from Amsterdam to London will have to change at Brussels Midi where security and passport checks will take place. Eurostar advises that the time allowed to make this connection will be between 49mins and 1h 48mins.

The Tata Communications IBC Sustsinability Ride from London to Amsterdam is a two-day cycle ride to highlight Tata Communications' recognition of the link between business, environment, and society.

The Flint Green Line

The Flint Green Line is a unique media industry networking event taking place in a dedicated Eurostar carriage heading to the IBC Show from London’s St. Pancras Station on Thurs 12 Sept at 11:04 AM.

GVB Public Transport Passes

IBC will offer complimentary 4-day GVB public transport passes. These will be available for collection from the RAI Information Points and will be valid for travel on the GVB network between 13 and 16 September 2024.

IBC Airport Shuttle Bus

IBC will provide complimentary airport shuttles buses running between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and the RAI Amsterdam during IBC2024 (13 – 16 September 2024). To take advantage of the complimentary airport shuttle, attendees will need to show either their IBC2024 registration confirmation email or their IBC2024 registration badge.

Hostesses will be at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Meeting Point and will direct attendees to the shuttle pick-up point located on TRACK-A, stop A15. At the RAI Amsterdam airport shuttles pick-up and drop-off point is located at Entrance C.

Tram, Metro & Bus

If you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, you can take Metro 52, the underground connection linking the district of Amsterdam North to the Amsterdam Zuid railway station. This line provides the fastest direct connection from Amsterdam Centraal Station to the RAI (alight at Europaplein station). You can also take Tram 4 from Amsterdam Centraal Station and alight at Europaplein.

From Amsterdam Zuid or Amstel Station, you can reach the RAI by Metro 51 (alight at Amsterdam RAI station) or by Bus line 62 (alight at Europaplein) or 65 (alight at Scheldeplein). Metro 50, which runs between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Gein, also stops at the Amsterdam RAI station.

The Amsterdam RAI railway station is located a stone's throw from the RAI and has regular connections to all parts of the Netherlands, like Schiphol airport, Rotterdam, Utrecht, the Hague and is also linked to the international train network. Bike

Inexpensive, environmentally friendly, fun and most popular way to travel - Amsterdam is renowned for its abundant cyclists! Bikes are available for rent at most railway stations or at a bike dealers or rental agencies in town.

Taxi

TCA taxis are available to and from the RAI and throughout the city of Amsterdam. A typical taxi journey from the RAI into the Amsterdam city centre should cost around €20.00. Parking

There is ample parking at the RAI Amsterdam including 30 electric charging stations.

Visitors can purchase a one day parking ticket from the vending machines. You can also purchase your parking ticket in advance. This way, you are assured a parking space, and, having paid already, can easily enter and exit the parking garage.

Accommodation

IBC work with the RAI Hotel Services, our official housing agent, to offer hotel accommodation for IBC2024 attendees and exhibitors at special event rates, and to ensure you are able to choose from a range of hotels to suit your preferences.
