The IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme’s Kickstart Day 2027 will take place on Thursday, 18 March at the BBC Broadcasting House, London.
The IBC Accelerator Kickstart Day is an opportunity to get involved and learn more about the programme, which is a framework to support fast-track collaboration and innovation.
For 2027, we are introducing a streamlined selection approach, with nine Accelerator projects to be chosen ahead of the event. The selected projects will be presented at Kickstart Day, where project leaders will pitch their challenges and invite organisations to participate.
The IBC Accelerator Innovation Programme has, since its inception in 2019, reflected some of the critical business & technology challenges – with an emphasis on innovation led by end users or buyers of tech and solutions within the broad media & entertainment ecosystem.
Whether you're submitting a challenge or looking to join a project, Kickstart Day is an opportunity to connect with the wider Accelerator community and help shape the next wave of industry innovation.
IBC Accelerator Kickstart Day is free to attend for broadcasters, platforms, studios and key media and technology vendors in the ecosystem. Please note that attendance is limited, and preference will be given to those involved in the selected 2027 projects.
