Oliver Lietz
Oliver Lietz founded nanocosmos in 1998 with a strong background in video R&D for video/audio coding and streaming for the broadcast industry. Since then, his goal is solving customer's challenges for integrate video technology into custom business applications, sometimes by inventing new technologies like H5Live for low latency live streaming, now part of nanoStream Cloud. His approach has always been building up trustful long-term customers relations.
Oliver has an exam of Electrical Engineering from TU Berlin and has founded other companies and helped startups getting their streaming applications successfully deployed. He has also worked at Fraunhofer/HHI before he founded nanocosmos.
Oliver likes to try out new hard- and software technologies, and occasionally teaches Video Engineering and Streaming Technology at Universities in Berlin, besides holding lectures, speeches and online seminars. In his little spare time, he likes to play his own music and travel with his family.
