Olaf Gersemann is the deputy editor-in-chief of WELT Group in Berlin. At WELT, he is responsible for the editorial development of innovative AI applications. Previously, among other roles, Olaf spent 15 years as head of WELT’s business desk and served as Washington correspondent for WirtschaftsWoche. In 2024, he spent three months in East Asia as an “AI Fellow” for Axel Springer, WELT’s owner.
