Alberto Gómez Gonzalvo

Alberto Gómez is the Business Unit Director of New Business at Fluendo, where he manages the strategic growth and development of the unit. In this role, Alberto oversees consulting services, product development, and tailored solutions for a diverse range of industries, including broadcasting, healthcare, drones, among others. He is also instrumental in coordinating European-funded projects, collaborating with prestigious institutions like the Fraunhofer Institute on the development of next-generation codecs.

Before joining Fluendo, Alberto dedicated eight years to the Automotive Industry, where he played a pivotal role in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) development. His work involved bringing to production systems that are now present in over 10 million cars globally, demonstrating his expertise in complex technological implementation at scale. He holds an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering, specializing in Multimedia Technologies from UPC, and previously conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and at CERN.
