Broadcasters are increasingly looking to move to cloud-based workflows to help them achieve scalability, flexibility, and increase efficiency. It is well accepted that cloud playout works well for small scale linear channels but how do larger media companies transition to cloud playout without sacrificing the advanced features that are crucial to their success? In this demo, Martins Magone, CTO, Veset, will demonstrate how Veset Nimbus delivers enterprise-grade features all hosted fully in a cloud-native environment. This includes Media Asset Management (MAM), ingest, scheduling, graphics, live capabilities, working with inputs and outputs, and monitoring. It will also include highlighting a number of recent feature additions, including integration with Dolby Audio for premium audio quality, HTML 5 for premium graphics, and a number of features aimed at improving the user experience by making it easier for Veset Nimbus users to create, manage and deliver high-quality linear channels.
