The content team work with a carefully selected group of industry experts which form the Content Steering Group (CSG) which is headed up by Keith Underwood, Chief Operating Officer, Channel 4. Meeting monthly, allows a forum for discussion and debate on current trends and opportunities in our industry - so only the best content is showcased at IBC.

Global Gamechangers track

New to 2018, this track brings the entire conference audience together as one on Thursday with big picture talks, interviews and presentations focusing on the significant themes and future trends within our industry, coupled with the personalities and organisations in the industry making waves in their field.  In 2018, we’re covering hot topics from digital transformation, to news reporting, and from VR to voice recognition. 

Breakfast briefings, lounge talks and networking events

Our aim is to deliver content in the best possible format for our delegates, not just relying on the typical format of a panel discussion.  Therefore masterclasses, breakfast briefings, interviews and tech talks have all been embedded into the programme to create a much more dynamic and memorable experience.  All conference delegates also have the opportunity to network and make new contacts at the Conference Opening Drinks on Thursday 13 September.

Introduction of hosts per track

All tracks now have an MC/Host for the whole day to ensure that a narrative is created across the whole day.  The delegate will benefit from the experience of joined up sessions, rather than a series of sessions coincidentally scheduled together.
