Getting Around

Trams

All IBC2017 visitors are entitled to a free GVB public transport pass which will be available for collection at any of the RAI information points. There are two tram stations close to the RAI - Amsterdam RAI Station or RAI Europaplein. If you are travelling from Amsterdam Central Station, you can either take the Amstelveen express tram 51 (travelling time: 12 minutes, exit at the Amsterdam RAI station) or tram 4 (travelling time: 30 minutes, exit at the RAI Europaplein). Shuttle Bus

IBC provides a free shuttle bus service to and from a selection of the major hotels in Amsterdam directly to the RAI as well as from Schiphol Airport to the RAI and back.

All hotel shuttles buses will pick-up and drop-off at location called P5a, opposite the Outside Exhibits and next to Hall 12.

All airport shuttles will pick-up and drop off outside Entrance C (Holland Entrance of Venue).

Bicycle:

One of the best ways to get around the city is by bike, you can hire a bike  here.

Parking

Visitors can buy a parking ticket for one day, valid from 00:00hrs until 24:00hrs. Tickets are available from the vending machines on site. One day parking will cost €18 including VAT.

Remember that you can book and purchase your parking ticket in advance. This way, you are assured a parking space, and, having paid already, can easily enter and exit the parking garage without pauses or delays.

Taxi

TCA taxis are available to and from the RAI and throughout the city. A typical taxi journey from the RAI into the city centre should cost around €20.00 and from the airport to the RAI it should cost around €40.00. Contact details +31 (0) 207 777777.

TCA taxis are available to and from the RAI and throughout the city. TCA offers visitors a special transfer rate of €37,50 from and to Schiphol Airport if you order a taxi online or via TCA call centre. Booking this way means that you will never pay more than €37,50 even in heavy traffic!
