Tom is Creative Director of Arrow Media, the label which draws on Arrow’s stellar track record of high-rating, innovative and returnable content, across the whole factual landscape - from long-running hit series to ground-breaking singles and specials.  

A BAFTA and RTS award-winning producer, Tom is one of the world’s leading producers of, and innovators in, space programming.  Passionate about the genre since he first became a producer, Tom has been responsible for the creation and production of a wide range of content - from live broadcasts from space, to unveiling and remastering hidden archive, and following space journeys from conception to completion.  Creative highlights include the ground-breaking international broadcast event Live From Space (Channel 4/National Geographic Channel), which featured live broadcasts from the international space station as it performed an entire circuit of the globe; Apollo: The Forgotten Films (Discovery Channel), a two-hour special which combined forgotten archive with gripping testimonies from eight surviving Apollo astronauts ; Rookie Moonshot: Budget Mission To The Moon (National Geographic Channel) which covered all stages of the first privately-funded mission to the moon; and America's Secret Space Heroes (Smithsonian Channel), a six-part series which told the stories of the last surviving engineers behind America’s most spectacular achievements, many told for the first time.

Tom’s storytelling skills have seen him produce hit returning series for broadcasters in both the UK and US. He has a skill for unearthing captivating tales from the past and bringing them to life.  2018 saw the launch of his high-end feature documentary Under the Wire for History Films, BFI and BBC4.  Other credits include America In Color, which delivered one of the highest ratings of the year for Smithsonian Channel and is returning for Season 3 in 2019. Meanwhile in the UK, Tom recently made Inside Balmoral for Channel 5 and Pearl Harbor: The Truth for Channel 4.  Tom has also spearheaded Arrow’s successful foray into the True Crime genre, which includes a slate of successful returning series for Investigation Discovery, most recently with Body Cam and also See No Evil, now in its fourth season, and American Monster now in its third.
