Phil Ventre’s considerable industry experience spans across sales, marketing, business development, partner and channel management, and project management. He began his broadcast career in 2000 as Head of Marketing for Sumners, then the largest single site post production house outside the M25. Phil further built his sales and marketing experience at VK Synergy, a non-traditional marketing and business development agency working across various sectors including the emerging technology markets.
As a consultant, Phil worked on delivery and Go To Market projects for clients including Apple, Avid and Ross Video. He worked with federations, clubs, media agencies, broadcasters, rights holders, resellers and partners across EMEA, engaging with customers including FIFA, UEFA, BBC, Sky, Barcelona, FIBA, HBS, Bundesliga, Liverpool, Endemol/Engage and Rolland Garros.
He delivered a sports-based project for Apple, determining how the organisation engaged with content owners and end users to help best distribute sports content in EMEAI. He developed the Go To Market strategy for the sports production marketplace for both Avid and Ross Video in Europe, creating routes to market through enterprise, channel, resellers and SI's while identifying potential solutions partners for new products.
Phil joined Ross Video in 2014 as Director of Key Accounts and Business Development – Sports, with direct responsibility for major sports key accounts in EMEA and India including Sky, BT Sport, BBC Sport, Eurosport, Star and IMG.
Following a consultancy role at AE Graphics advising on new markets, platforms and technologies, he joined Ncam Technologies in his current role of VP Sports and Broadcast, where he leads the global business development and sales function for the sports, e-sports and broadcast sectors.
