Chris Dickens ACE has worked in a large variety of editing styles and types of subject including TV comedy and drama, commercials, music films, musicals, documentaries and across some of the most highly regarded Film and Television Productions of recent years.
In 2009, Chris won both the Academy Award for Best Editing and the BAFTA Film Award for his work on Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Danny Boyle.
Recent films include Rocketman with director Dexter Fletcher, Mary Queen of Scots with director Josie Rourke, Macbeth with director Justin Kurzel, The Man With The Iron Heart for director Cédric Jimenez, Genius with director Michael Grandage, Suite Francaise, directed by Saul Dibb, Les Miserables, directed by Tom Hooper, Richard Ayoade's The Double and Berberian Sound Studio, directed by Peter Strickland. Chris has collaborated with director Edgar Wright on the films Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. Other film credits include Paul, directed by Greg Mottola, Richard Ayoade's Submarine, Danny Cannon's Goal and Don Mancini's Seed of Chucky.
