Will Pickett

Will is a Senior Partner at Carnstone, a consultancy specialising in sustainability. He also leads the DIMPACT initiative, a group of 23 large media and technology companies interested in understanding and ultimately reducing the carbon impacts of serving digital media and entertainment products. DIMPACT have developed a framework in partnership with the University of Bristol’s Computer Science Department, and help companies understand the scale and hotspots of emissions in serving digital content. Will has also worked with other organisations, such as Ofcom and a consortium of European Broadcasters, to understand the energy consumption and emissions associated with TV distribution and viewing.
