Victor Goossens
In late 2000, then professional StarCraft player Victor “Nazgul” Goossens started “Team Liquid” as a small but promising Brood War clan. A few years later, he launched Teamliquid.net to serve as a homebase for early esports enthusiasts to stay connected, discover the scene and organize their own online competitions. During the website’s early growth, Goossens supported himself as a professional poker player. Since then, Goossens has helped transform Team Liquid into an international organization with 120+ athletes and talent across 15 titles, five continents and two, state-of-the-art training facilities.
In addition to leading Team Liquid, Victor is an investor and board member for SunSpear Games and a board member for the CS:GO Louvre Agreement. He is also an investor and strategic advisor for AoE Creative, one of the industry’s most-respected design and marketing firms.
