Thomas Iljic

Thomas Iljic is a Distinguished Product Manager at Google Labs, focused on the intersection of AI and human creativity. He currently leads the team building Flow, Google’s AI Creative Studio. Launched at Google I/O after a rapid 100-day sprint, Flow has since grown to over 17 million monthly active users, empowering filmmakers, creative professionals, and enthusiasts across 140+ countries.

Before joining Google Labs, Thomas worked on decentralized systems and held key roles in Google Ads, where he solved complex auction and prediction problems. He brings a uniquely multidisciplinary perspective to his work, backed by an educational background spanning Computer Security, Aerospace Engineering, and Business. Prior to Google, Thomas led technology transfer initiatives to bridge the public-private sector gap, earning recognition as the "French diplomat for micro-nanotechnologies."

In his free time, he enjoys playing with his two daughters, reading technical papers, and diving into storytelling in all its forms—whether through games, movies, or books.
