Theresa Wise

Theresa Wise is Chief Executive of the Royal Television Society – Britain’s leading forum for television and streaming media. 

She has been in the position since 2013 and has led the transformation of the society to become a vibrant, contemporary organisation reflecting the industry and public which it serves. Theresa also serves on the Board of IBC. 

Prior to the RTS, Theresa led Corporate Strategy EMEA for The Walt Disney Company and before that she was Partner in the Media and Entertainment Practice of Accenture. She holds an MA in Classics from Oxford University and an MBA from London Business School. 

Theresa was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Broadcasting in the 2024 New Year Honours List.
