Tamar Shoham is a distinguished imaging and video scientist with over 20 years experience in algorithm development and industry-focused research, particularly in the areas of video quality, compression, and Video Operations. Mrs Shoham is the Chief Technology Officer at Beamr (Nasdaq: BMR), a recognized NVIDIA partner and global leader in video modernization and content adaptive video solutions. At Beamr, she drives innovation in AI-powered video technologies and is instrumental in advancing the efficiency and quality of video delivery systems and integration of AI and Video Operations, positioning Beamr at the forefront of the Video Operations revolution. She holds a B.Sc. from Tel-Aviv University and an M.Sc. with honours from the Technion Institute of Technology, both in Electrical Engineering, is a winner of a Technology & Engineering Emmy® award, author of multiple academic papers, primary inventor of over 40 international patents and proud mother of three grown children.
