Taishi IWASAKI is a research engineer in Advanced Television Systems Research Division, Science & Technology Research Laboratories, Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK). His research interests include the development of technology for personalized audio experience using next-generation audio, its practical application in broadcasting systems and acoustics in VR/AR contents. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Waseda University in 2016 and 2018, respectively. He joined NHK in 2018, where he was in charge of the development and arrangement of broadcasting systems such as cameras for studio production, news gathering and weather viewing.
