Sydney Lovely is Chief Technology Officer at Grass Valley. In this role, he is responsible for driving all aspects of technology strategy, product development and information technology. Sydney joined Grass Valley in 2012 and has held a succession of senior leadership positions, most recently as Senior Vice President of Products & Technology.

Sydney is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in leadership and technical roles. Prior to joining Grass Valley, Sydney founded a startup company in the semiconductor industry. He grew this company into a multimillion dollar business and led it through the successful acquisition by Altera Corporation. More recently, Sydney led engineering development teams in the broadcast industry with Omneon Video and Harmonic.
