Stuart Ray

Stuart has been involved in training and education for the Television industry for almost thirty years.

Most recently he was a Head of Department at Solent University, Southampton, with responsibility for a range of degrees across Media Technology, Computing and Television Production.

He has worked in Further and Higher Education and the charity sector and is a passionate supporter of new talent in the industry. He has undertaken recent research into the shortage of young people studying the fields of media technology and broadcast engineering. As a consequence, he believes there is a clear need for retraining and upskilling for both new and long-standing professionals in the industry.
