Steve Heffernan

Steve Heffernan has been building web applications for more than two decades and building video players since before Youtube existed. In 2010 he created Video.js, the first and most widely used open HTML5 video player. At the same time he co-founded Zencoder, a pioneering company in cloud video encoding. In 2015 he became the co-founder of Mux, a developer platform for video streaming, encoding, and QoE based in San Francisco.
