As Director of Digital for Bluey at BBC Studios Digital Brands, Simon Clarke spearheads the strategic and operational management of an expansive digital portfolio that supports one of the world’s most beloved children’s brands. Under Simon's leadership, Bluey's digital presence spans over 40 channels across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Web, engaging millions of fans and reaching a global audience.
Simon develops and executes digital strategies that amplify Bluey fan engagement, supporting both direct and indirect revenue generation. His work encompasses not only digital programming but also the cultivation of dynamic, interactive communities, leveraging partnerships with creators to deliver compelling and innovative content. Simon’s efforts enable collaboration across key BBC Studios business lines—including Consumer Products & Licensing (CP&L), Live Events, and Publishing—through high-impact digital campaigns and award-winning content that resonates worldwide. Notable signature campaigns include: Bluey featuring in Macy’s iconic Thanksgiving parade; Bluey Book Reads; The Sign; Bluey Minisodes; Bluey Dancealongs; and Bluey’s World.
Simon’s career at BBC Studios began in 2009 when he joined as Digital Manager, supporting the growth of the international channels business. Over the last decade, he has focused on BBC Studios’ Kids & Family portfolio, playing a pivotal role in the success of much-loved CBeebies series Hey Duggee, Go Jetters and Sarah & Duck. His expertise in digital content and strategy continues to fuel Bluey's prominence and influence across global digital landscapes.
