Shamir Allibhai is CEO and co-founder of Eddie AI, an AI editor that joins professional post-production teams inside the Adobe and DaVinci Resolve cloud workflows they already use. He co-founded the company in 2024 to give editors an AI collaborator that organizes footage, builds selects, syncs multicams, and assembles first cuts — so their time goes to storytelling, not repetitive work.
Before Eddie, Shamir founded Simon Says, an AI transcription platform acquired by Meta, where he became product manager for video infrastructure. A former documentary filmmaker with roots at the BBC, he has spent his career at the intersection of video and AI, driven by a single aim: increasing the sum of creativity in video.
