Selin Güngör

Selin Güngör is an award-winning project engineer specialising in the procurement, integration, and optimisation of IT-based systems in broadcasting. At TRT, she manages projects end-to-end, from technical specifications to evaluation, installation, acceptance, and control, focusing on adopting cutting-edge technologies such as AI and virtual studios. In 2024, she received the European Broadcasting Union’s Young Technology Talent Award for her AI-based project combating fake news. She is pursuing a PhD in broadcasting technology, with research focused on AI, broadcast accessibility solutions, media workflows, and innovation. Additionally, she completed the Erasmus+ DigiVision program, which included the Virtual Studio Design Training in Budapest.
