Sasha Twining

Sasha Twining has been a television and radio presenter for 25+ years. 

Most recently she presented flagship business programmes for BBC World Service, including World Business Report, and Business Matters (global audience 97 million). 

Previously she was a TV news anchor on Sky News and was also the London correspondent for the Nine Network (Australia). Her TV work also includes consumer champion show ‘Inside Out’ and the Politics Show for BBC South.

Sasha has also presented for ITV News, BBC News 24i, LBC radio and BBC local radio. In the early 2000’s she was a peak-time continuity announcer on BBC ONE.

Sasha currently works as a moderator and debate host/chair, facilitating conversations across a wide range of fields, including sustainability, technology, energy, manufacturing and agriculture. She works for high profile private and public organisations, including the European Commission and the EU Presidency. 

Sasha is an advocate of new technology - she has an embedded NFC chip in her hand, and presented a BBC programme about the innovation.
