Sannuta Raghu is an award-winning Indian journalist and television producer. She heads Scroll.in's AI Lab for News and Journalism. With her colleagues, she is building Factivo, a versioning platform to repurpose text news articles into formats and interfaces - according to the information needs of users.
She is a 2024-2025 ICFJ Knight Fellow, working on on building a foundational layer for a journalism-specific NER model, and designing news delivery for a 'net positive news experience'. She is also a 2025 Journalism Fellow at the Reuters Institute, University of Oxford, working on data dignity and text provenance.
