Russell Trafford-Jones

Russell Trafford-Jones is a technical evangelist passionate about broadcast media. A SMPTE fellow and Industry Engagement Manager at Techex, Russell connects the company’s deep technical expertise with emerging technologies and wider industry initiatives such as DMF, MXL and TAMS. He is committed to improving the industry through education and inclusivity which he does through personal projects and as part of the On Air project from the Media Talent Manifesto. Russell is the co-chair of the JT-DMF End-to-End Synchronisation Working Group and serves on the executive of the IET Media Technical Network, a group of active industry individuals who create and support educational events globally.
