Ross Dagan

Ross Dagan is Executive Vice President and Head of News Operations and Transformation for CBS News and Stations, overseeing operations and technology. A global news executive with more than 30 years’ experience, he leads innovation that connects network and local teams, strengthens editorial coordination and modernises workflows. Dagan spearheaded the Super Desk, a unified newsgathering platform that enables teams to share resources and information, while paving the way for data to help shape story-telling and aid efficiencies and strategy. He also played a key role in launching an Archives Transformation Project that is preserving and enriching millions of assets that make-up one of the world’s most significant video news archives. Before joining CBS in 2021, Dagan held senior editorial roles at Network 10 Australia, Al Jazeera English, the Seven Network Australia and Television New Zealand. He holds an MBA, a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a Certificate in Management Excellence from Harvard Business School.
