Dr. Richard Bradbury leads the Internet Distribution team at BBC Research & Development within its Broadcast and Connected Systems research section. Prior to that, he worked in an number of research areas, including interactive television technologies for the BBC Red Button service, hybrid broadcast/IP platforms for BBC iPlayer and metadata architecture for the YouView joint venture. He is currently chairing the ABR Multicast taskforce within the DVB Technical Module. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in broadband networking systems and a B.Sc.(Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Manchester.
