René is passionate in converting data into insights and to develop new and unique data driven solutions, like the award winning X-Cross solution at Publicis Media. He leads advanced analytcis and market research for DACH within Publicis Media with more than 17 years of experience specialised in marketing and media consulting, advanced maketing analytics, statistic, media and communication research. Before he joined Publicis Media in 2014, René worked close to 7 years at Nielsen where he was responsible for Digital Product in EMEA, Market Governance and Data Strategy in Europe and German Marketing Effectiveness business. Within his role he also worked more than 3 years for Nielsen in Brussels and supported European Commission, European Parliament, AMCHAM EU, ESOMAR and IAB Europe with insights into media and research. Before that worked for media publishers namely Lycos, WEB.DE and United Internet Media. He developed one of first European predivctive targeting approaches for online media. Furthermore René is within the AGOF board, the German Online Joint Industrry Committee and he is one of the speaker of FOMA within BVDW, the organisation of online media agencies.
