Mr. Radoslav Markov has very versatile interests. He has a Masters degree in Economics, Sound Engineering and Film Directing. He has always been at the cutting edge of new technologies. Many years back he made the first internet connection in Bulgaria. He introduced the DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) in his own country and he was he was one of the people that introduced the digital cinematography in Bulgaria. Having had diverse interests in many high tech fields, he has always been at the interface of different technologies. Recently, he has been working on various digital cinema cross points issues like the use of lasers, photonics, digitalisation IT technologies, film restoration and preservation of film archives. He has a significant body of work on improving cinema user experience (colometry) in high-end digital projection. Mr Markov is a voting member of SMPTE committee for digital cinema, member of the French CST (Commision superieure technique de l'image et du son). He is a member of the board of EDCF and corresponding member of the technical committee of FIAF (International Federation of Film Archives). Mr Radoslav Markov received the Bulgarian president award for the most innovative enterprise of the year in 2016.
