With over two decades of experience in the Sports, Entertainment, and Media industry, Prashant Khanna brings deep expertise in production services, technology, and innovation to his role at JioStar. He leads the Production Services, Technology, and Innovation functions for the Sports ecosystem, overseeing field operations, design services, studio management, and tech development while driving the adoption of advanced production technology. At Disney Star, Prashant has been instrumental in leading production and technology development teams for the past few years. His contributions include the establishment of Star Lab, Disney Star’s R&D unit, and the successful execution of pioneering initiatives such as the Sign Language & Descriptive Commentary feed project, which was recognized with the National Award in 2024. His exceptional work has earned him prestigious accolades, including the Disney Inventor Award (2023) and the Disney Innovator Award (2021). Prashant’s career spans leadership roles at some of the most prominent broadcasters and media houses, including News Corporation, NDTV, Turner Broadcasting, Reliance Media Works, Hinduja Corporate, and Encompass Digital Media. He has also served as a mentor and advisor to several sports and tech ventures, further solidifying his expertise in the evolving sports and media landscape.
