Supervising Visual Colourist, Technicolour
Peter Doyle is one of the industry's true masters of motion picture colour-finishing. Working from his grading theatre at Technicolor London, in the heart of Soho, Peter has served many of the world's greatest filmmakers and cinematographers, related to the development of their colour pipeline and workflows, beginning in the planning and pre-production phases all the way through dailies, final colour-grading, and mastering for the home and other distribution channels. Throughout his career, Peter has been at the forefront of technological change within the industry, from working on the first film to win an Oscar for Cinematography that employed the digital intermediate process, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring to the execution of HDR finishing for many films, inclusive of the first HDR finishes for directors Tim Burton and David Yates. Peter also handled colour finishing responsibilities for the Harry Potter franchise, including the recently graded HDR versions of the films and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to great acclaim. He is currently working on projects with directors The Coen Brothers and Joe Wright.
