Parag Naik – Head of Semiconductor, Broadcast & Satcom at Tejas Networks, and former CEO of Saankhya Labs, now integrated into Tejas Networks.
Parag Naik is a visionary technology entrepreneur with over 29 years of experience in the telecom and semiconductor industries. He currently leads the Semiconductor, Broadcast & Satcom division at Tejas Networks, where he is driving innovation in next-generation connectivity, satellite communication, and broadcast infrastructure.
Previously, Parag served as the CEO and Co-founder of Saankhya Labs, India’s first private fabless semiconductor company, which is now a part of Tejas Networks. Under his leadership, Saankhya developed award-winning Software Defined Radio (SDR) chipsets and communication platforms that have played a pivotal role in India's indigenous telecom hardware ecosystem.
Parag is globally recognized as a leading expert in SDR and Cognitive Radios, and is one of the inventors of transformative technologies such as Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) Broadcast, RANWiser (a cloud-native custom silicon platform), and the RAN Hypervisor, a disruptive 5G RAN cloud architecture.
He holds over 50 international patents in VLSI design, CPU/SDR architecture, digital communications, and hardware-software co-design. His contributions have earned him several prestigious accolades, including:
