Paola Sunna

Paola Sunna is Senior Technology and Innovation Manager at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), where she leads initiatives focused on next-generation media technologies and innovation for broadcasters worldwide. With more than 25 years of experience spanning RAI and the EBU, she has driven advancements in UHD, HDR, immersive media, 5G, AI, virtual production, and next-generation audio. A SMPTE Fellow and recognized industry leader, Paola is an active contributor to standards development and collaborative innovation, helping shape the future of media technology and broadcast workflows.
