Murali Babu Muthukrishnan

Murali heads the Advanced Video and Research Business Unit at Ittiam Systems. His work focuses on developing video, Imaging, Generative AI, computer vision & machine learning based systems. He has over 25 years of experience designing several standards-based codecs (MPEG2, MPEG4. H.264, H.265, VP9) and also architecting them on embedded and server grade platforms. He has also designed products for Broadcast, Enterprise and Consumer applications. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Communication from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), India.
