Morten Brandstrup

Morten Brandstrup is Head of Production Technology and Head of News Technology at TV 2 Denmark, and an elected member of the EBU Technical Committee. He works at the intersection of broadcasting, telecoms, and connectivity, driving the adoption of 5G, IP-based production, and next-generation contribution workflows for live media production. Morten is an active contributor to the EU Horizon Europe 5G-RECORDS project, the 5G Danish Innovation Hub, and multiple IBC Accelerator initiatives exploring the convergence of telecom and media technologies. He is also involved in spectrum policy and PMSE initiatives, helping bridge the gap between broadcasters, network operators, technology vendors, and regulators to enable future media production workflows.
