Michael Loftus

With over 20 years experience in the media and broadcast industries, Michael was instrumental in the setup of RTÉ's hybrid Content Delivery Network in 2018 powering RTÉ's OTT platform (RTÉ Player).
As streaming infrastructure lead, Michael continues to grow RTÉ's content delivery capability as their audience shifts to OTT in ever larger numbers. Michael regularly contributes to publications on the EBU BDA (Broadband Distribution Architectures) working group.
