Melyssa Banda

Melyssa Banda joined the Seagate leadership team in 2018 to transform and build the distribution channel for Seagate’s core HDD products.  Under her leadership, the channel distribution achieved several firsts including #1 in market share as well as record revenue and profits. Recently, Melyssa was chartered with a strategic initiative to drive transformational growth around Seagate systems and Lyve solutions and services. She is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the portfolio. In addition, she is responsible for driving new re-occurring revenue streams and building strategic partnerships to accelerate Seagate’s edge storage growth.

Prior to joining Seagate, Banda held various global leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer at a cloud infrastructure provider and held several senior roles leading products, marketing, and strategy at Fortune 500 companies.

She has an undergraduate degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego.
