Matt McDonald

Matt McDonald is the Group SVP EMEA Broadcast Services for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). He leads the organisation responsible for broadcast operations and technology in support of both: the WBD Sports business, including TNT Sports and Eurosport; and the WBD International Channels business across EMEA. The team is distributed throughout EMEA and the core locations are London, Paris and Warsaw.

Prior to starting this role at WBD in 2022, Matt worked for Sky for 16 years in a variety of roles including CTO of Sky Deutschland and leading the Broadcast Services Department for Sky UK.  Before joining Sky in 2008, he spent eight years as a Technology Consultant working in the Media and Entertainment sector.
